First Time Fartleker (sounds so gross)

I did a Fartlek workout for the first time today. It is to be the only hard day for me this week. I ran 3 miles and ran hard every 3/4 of a mile. I'm supposed to run hard for 200m so I just counted off about 170 paces figuring each one was slightly longer than a meter. I plan on running a couple light days Wed and Thu, taking Friday off and then running the 5k at Cinco Ranch. Should be fun.
