Well, another race-day today. Only two weeks since my last one but it was so close to home and I was curious about my improvement so I went ahead with it. A real 5k race that actually costs money is definitely an event. Food, sponsors, marketing toys, T-shirts, prizes. It was a lot of fun. I cut almost 20s off my last time so I'm happy with that. Again, we managed to be running late but nowhere near as bad as last time. In the pictures I look like I just rolled out of bed (because I had); one of these days I'll get my act together for a well-prepared race.
