Welp, it was quite a week. I followed the regimen, ran hard, and did my best. Here's how it went down...
Tues: (what I thought was four miles is actually) 3.75 : 32:03 easy paced (8:32)
Wednesday: 3.25 : 26.48 quick paced (8:14)
Thursday: 5 : 44:02 easy paced (8:48)
Friday: 2.5 miles quick paced at 7:58 and then 4 400's paced at 1:30 each with walk/jog 400 in between.
I was somewhat happy after Tues but then deflated when I realized it wasn't a true 4 miles. Then I got even more deflated after Wednesday's run. Thursday I faced the facts, went for a good long run, and then Friday (today) I hammered it out. I will close the week with a long easy run tomorrow morning.
